Good barbecue, but just too much hassle when on holday and in "bone idle" mode.
We now use one of these . . . On one of these . . .
Not as good as a proper barbecue admittedly, but it works well and cleans with a wipe and a quick swill.
I soak our heat deflector and wire BBQ grill in a big shallow plant pot base filled with soapy water, and by using a wire scrunchy on the heat deflector and a soft mesh Brillo type pad for the grill, they come up a treat with very little effort. For best results do the next day.
. . . that griddle looks good, where did you get that from, as we have the burner .
Damn you Rolla - in the nicest possible way of course!
I knew as I left the griddle website someone would ask where we got it, and now I can't find it again!
In fact we got it from an outlet shop at Street. It was on special offer for a tenner, which is quite a bit less the usual price. (Its cardboard box was a bit tatty!! Nothing else wrong with it. )
