Has anyone used one of these for internet access in Europe?

It looks like even if you are not a BT customer you can buy a voucher (£27.99) that basically gives you access to the BT openzone wifi network for 14 days or 500 minutes.

Good poi file available whichshows all the wifi hotspots locations where you can get access.

I've been away for 70 days and have got online 67 out of those days using the 1km Wifi Antenna using open / communal Wifi.

Looking through that list of Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland I can see only one partner that I have actually seen a hotspot for and that one gave a 'free' 30 minutes access to anyone.

Not used one, but it looks pretty good. We are off to France in July and I will look into getting one.

Thanks Addie
I still can't believe there are that many unecrypted connections available.

Using the antennae to find openzone or fon hotspots would seem the best solution
