If you want to check how much gas you have remaining in your bottle, you could buy a gadget, at a price, to fix to the bottle. Why pay?
Take a kettle of hot water and gently dribble the water down the side of the gas bottle for a few seconds. Run your hand down the bottle side and you will feel it hot at the top, then cold at the liquid level inside the bottle. This is a precise way to do it..
