Hi. has anyone tried to mount one of these externally ie on the ladder?.
I dont want to drill big holes in my roof and I dont have the depth inside the locker. can it be mounted this way.
and if you haven't got it already don't go and buy it. Its is just as effective to buy any small wideband TV aerial like in the picture below.
Mine cost just under £6 from a Radio and TV shop.

on my last motorhome i mounted a status on a pole externaly to clips and made the cable entry via an external socket which only meant drilling a small hole through the body the size to take the coax cable, it worked great
No I am not I had all conections checked by tv engineer, then tried ordinry house ariel and the picture was brilliant. Home ariel blew down in winter so i used the one from mh and replaced with sat dish. A Vu cube actually.
