Checked battery voltage levels last night and was surprised to see them so low:
12.3V Leisure
12.2V Vehicle
Looked at the solar regulator and it was showing no charge going to the batteries in bright sunlight.
Just been out to the van and checked again, the battery voltages are the same. I also checked the voltage from the panel into the regulator and it is showing 12.3V.
If it helps, it is an 85W panel and the regulator is a Steca PR1010.
Any suggestions?
Gerry

Have you checked all the fuses?

Haven't checked any fuses yet. There is nothing to suggest a fuse problem. Everything works in the van.

What is the charge cut off voltage set at?
That is an excellent regulator and user adjustable I believe.

I've just scanned the manual and the default settings indicate 13.9 float 14.4 boost. The voltage would indicate to me that a load is connected?

What charge is indicated on the display? should be good at the moment so if not showing at all then something is amiss Rolling Eyes

I think I would disconnect either or both of the solar cables at the regulator and the measure the voltage across the panel to start with. Should be 17 volts or higher in this Sun

Just disconnected the regulator, the voltage from the panel is 19.2V.
Reconnected everything and the regulator shows no current from the panel.

Solar is OK then so that indicates the regulator. I'd try resetting. While the solar is disconnected, disconnect the battery.
Reconnect the battery then the solar. Then if you have the manual try a menu driven reset. If that all fails I'd say the reg is US

you can download instruction here, select EN on the top right

Forget all the above ,the specific routine is on page 13

Just done a self-test and it is showing error code 110, which is regulator fault.
Have to contact the suppliers.
Thanks everyone for your help.

I had a Steca go wonky on me a few years ago but cant remember the error code. It was a known fault though and they swapped it without to much bother.
