I got home from a weekend away to find one of the telescopic arms from the side of my ariel missing Sad

(probably a victim of a detour through overgrown single track lanes to avoid an accident)

Are they important ? (cant test it at home)

If so are they repairable ?

Roger do they look like an aerial from a car if so they are the aerial for your stereo if you have one fitted in the habitation area.

Yes telescopic arms one comes out each side at the back.

No stereo in the hab area.

So they are not required for tv ?

No not needed for the tv they might have been connected for your vehicle stereo but not normally i would try it but you still have another as there are two of them.
