I can think of better rivers in France to follow, especially that stretch of it. I havn't stayed in the area too long myself but not many aire shown on the various websites.

With two weeks to spend I would be down the Loire at least but each to their own is what it's all about.

Hi Tude,

There are a few aires, mainly along the stretch around Rouen...

In order from Honfleur..

St Nicholas de Bliquetit, alongside the Seine with views over to Caudebec, nothing much in the town though.

La Mailleraye, alongside the Seine, very popular with British vans.

Heurteauville, alongside the Seine, a nice private aire.

Jumiege, Nice enougn peaceful aire on the outskirts of the town which is well worth a visit and has an impressive abbey.

Then into Rouen itself, there is overnight parking next to the Seine overlooking the city.

Oissel, small aire with only 2 places in a lovely park next to the Seine, just off the A13.

Then aires get a bit thin on the ground but the previous aires are all worth a visit along with the surrounding forests to the west of Rouen.

Nothing like the Mosel though.

ps, all the aires are in the database except Heurteauville but thats going in soon Wink

Pete
