I have added a Google+1 button to all posts, this is basically the Google equivalent of Facebooks' Like button

It shows in the top right of all posts as shown below

If you aren't a Google+ user then don't worry it doesn't affect you at all

thanks very much for the invite, am really enjoying Google+ and can see the major advantages over FBook but don't think people that are happy with FB will leave to move to google+ more's the pity

I now assume that all our posts are visible on a 'Facebook' type site if somebody clicks the button.

It makes me ask....What has this got to do with Motorhomes?
Or, is it another irrelavent way of spending our proposed higher subs?

Lots of information can be found here:
http://www.google.com/+1/button/

The code is freely available and I have no doubt it took less than five minutes to implement. It is a way of both sharing information with others and quick referencing (social bookmarking) information so you can refer to it later.

It may also have implications for how MHF is ranked on Google - higher rankings = more visitors = more members = variety is the spice of life! Smile

Its a mixture of a like button and a share button which lots of the newspapers, etc etc have for facebook, it shows up on your google+ account and will obviously make forums, pages, sites go further up the search engines...
People can see posts anyway surely as its a public forum ??
I prefer Google+ to facebook at the moment, it's more secure and it makes it possible to have different groups(circles) of people that can see some things and not others... My friends don't have to be bored rigid by pictures of patchwork quilts but my patchwork friends can, same for motorhome stuff which my dh would like to read but not my son.. etc etc

I know the world can see everything Rolling Eyes
I thought it was a reasonable question Wink

Currently my favourite comment is:-

'There is so much communication now that nobody actually communicates!'
