Hi All,

I would be very grateful if anyone can help with a problem with our van - I just don't know where to start!!

We have developed a water leak on our 1996 Dethleffs Globetrotter I 5832.

It appears to be coming from the front end of the van underneath. The only thing we have come up with is there appears to be some sort of valve or small part under the passenger seat where you can just reach your hand down which seems to be continually wet and there is a slow drip underneath which wets the floor under the van.

When we are not using the van we drain the fresh water and the leak stops.

I am wondering if with the cold winter weather last year we didn't drain down the water system completely and frozen water in some part has caused something to split.

Any ideas anyone?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated - the prospect of taking up the floor in the front looms large as the only way to find out how to fix it and that seems like a mammoth undertaking.

Many thanks
