Anyone know the correct way to connect the regulator to this distribution box? There is a space for "aux solar" on a connector block of outputs , but surely, coming from a panel and regulator will be an input?

I have no idea of the panel you have, when in doubt, just connect the solar regulator directly to the battery with a fuse at the battery end, until you have found a way of connecting into your panel if you want to do that.... That's my view

looks to me like it is saying that fuse 7 20A is directly connected to the leisure battery B2. If this is so then it can be an input or an output. Either way it is fused at 20 A. If you're going to use it for the input from your solar regulator then your wiring either needs to be 20 amp minimum or replace that fuse with a smaller one. If your regulator has "load" terminals and you plan to use them? then all wiring must be capable of 20 amps as the cable between your DS300 and B2 is/was rated at 20 amps originally. It's unlikely that your regulator can carry or exceed 20 amps tho?

I can see your confusion but all it means is that fuse 7 can be used as a 20 amp auxiliary output AND OR a solar regulator input.

Thank you to "Marcleliesure" for a plethora of info thumbup

yep aggreed pin 1 on the conector block 15, just check it by putting your volt meter between pin 1 and earth you should see 12volts or so and remove the 20amp fuse and the volts should dissapear, Andy is refering to just to make sure you have the correct pin.... or indeed just conect it directley to the leasure battery as I have already mentioned, it matters not as there seems not to be a current shunt in the circuit provided.... thats my view
