Hi
I am thinking of installing a Snooper system which has a reversing camera input.
I was thinking of using the camera in the link below and doing the majority of the installation myself.
I know the camera is cheap but I really am wondering why the others are all so expensive. It seems that if it's got motorhome it automatically triples the price! Bit like weddings eh?!
I bought a 7 inch gps with reverse cam (wireless) lifetime map updates running IGO 8 map with truck option. Can't fault it. Have been tom-tom user for years and this is much better. Pm me if you req more info.

They are motorhomers as well nice people to do business with.

Got to say that website is a revelation. Trying to do this properly will order one with night vision.
As far as the Sat Nav is concerned I was trying to minimise the amount of screens and kit that you have on the dash. Reversing camera screen, sat nav screen, phone, etc, etc.
We've been using a Mio for a while and its OK but not brilliant. Now having moved from a vehicle that is 2m high to one that 3.2 m high has concerned me. A lot of people on here seem to recommend snooper.
I bought a twin camera and 7" monitor set up from here.
One cam for reversing, the other as a rear view whilst driving.
Its worked perfectly for the last 3 years. The whole kit was less than £200.

Only observation I'd make is that reversing cameras live in a particularly harsh environment wrt muck, spray etc. My experience of cheaper ones is they don't last, but others may have had more success.
