I bought a Hymer with an Autosat 2 system but the tuner is German and I was quoted over £700 to part exchange the receiver which is ridiculous. I have a Freeview TV but also a Grundig Freesat tuner, is it possible to somehow connect the Grundig tuner so that the dish will autmatically find the right location as it does with the Autosat tuner

Well I dont have the system you have... but in general, rule out the ketherine CAP900 series, once you have located the satelite you require for example 28e astra then simpley remove the coax from the existing receiver and plug it into your sat receiver, sometimes your existing receiver has a lnb loop out if so use that.... hope that helps to start off with....
