just had an hour fiddling because i was fed up with the water shooting on the toilet seat when flushed and the ocasional tik tik during the night....
was onlty after i dismantled the pressure mechanism i realised it was adjustable without dismantling via a small grub screw on the bottom....
Not sure why someone had set the pressure so high but 2 turns out and the water glides around the bowl and i doubt i ll get the tik tik in the night as you can run half a cupfull before the pump kicks in....( before it kicked in at the lift of a tap such was the pressure)

Might be of use to someone with the same symptoms and an easy fix...
