Coders have been tendered and a price agreed for the following bug fixes / addons:

1. BUGFIX: Clicking on the county of Rutland in offline mode gives no results, clicking on the county of Rutland in online mode (google mapping) shows a map of Rutland in the USA and not Rutland in the UK
2. BUGFIX: Clicking on the France map and then on the region “Haute Normandie” shows a map of a region to the east of Strasbourg, in offline mode it shows 0 results
3. BUGFIX: Free text search for campsite name in search by filter produces incorrect results, i.e. entering "Fishery" in the campsite name field should show >28 matches but shows 0 results It seems to be that the search is only working for full / partial text in the first word if a campsite has more than a single word as its name i,e. If you are checking if the campsite "Countryside Cottage" is the application and search for cottage you get 0 matches, but if you search for countryside it is found.
4. ADDON: Remove regions for Belgium from the map as we do not have regions in our database, so the map needs to just show Belgium country and no regional searches. The same as Portugal country works.
5. ADDON: “Update from” date set in Settings->Connectivity is always set to today’s date, this is ok apart from the 1st time the app is updated. For instance we have the app which was finalised back in March 14th. We are now in July and when we run the app for the 1st time the “update from” date is set to 22nd July, so if the user doesn’t manually change this then they would miss out on 4 months’ worth of campsite updates.
6. ADDON: Change the google map icons to be different colours for the different types of sites. Also add a button next to the Enable / Disable google mapping button called “Icon Key” which if the user presses it will show a small popup window with the different icon colours and what each icon represents. There should be a close button on the popup to remove it once the user has read the message
7. ADDON: Add a popup message when user closes the app to say “Please wait…. Checking if new version of iCampsites is available”, display this until the update.exe has run and then close.
8. ADDON: Need to add a warning message when the user clicks on the Update button to say the following: "Please do not disconnect iCampsites USB Key from your computer during the Update process. If you do so, you may corrupt the database file."
9. ADDON: Update process progress system needs improving. Sometimes if there are a lot of new entries available you click the Update button, the text changes to “checking” and then “Updating..” but the progress bar does nothing and the app either crashes in windows with “iCampsites USB Edition has stopped working” or it takes a very long time to update and the last stage of the update process the progress bar is showing 100% but the update hasn’t finished. The progress bar should be more closely synced to the entire process so that the progress bar only shows 100% once it has completely finished.
10. ADDON: Synchronise deleted entries on MHF Campsite database to iCampsites USB

The developer has already commenced work and thinks it will be ready for next week !
Only time will tell lol, anyway we are working out how to do a test update first on our new patch to ensure no unforeseen issues with our first patch rollout and then hopefully will be passed on to the server and all users of icampsites will upgrade Smile
