Has anyone fitted any, I have noticed the bump stops on our MH an 02 Boxer are sitting about 1inch away from the springs.
Will fitting some assists help with the ride?

any details of your experiance would be appriciated.

I recently noticed our van was sitting down heavily at the back and so I replaced the old springs completely with new heavy duty ones. The van sits lovely now and rides much better

I got the springs from Jones Springs

Noticed the same on my 'van and how when it was loaded, if I went over uneven roads the ride gave quite a jolt. This was the bump stops coming into action. Made enquiries and it seems that this is normal.

However, I've had AirRide balloon thingies fitted now in place of the bump stops and it's made a huge difference. Lovely ride now and less of the dramatics when cornering.

So a thumbs up from me.

A set of air suspension units will do the job for you. Available here:-

Check carefully when you chassis was manufactured as it is a different kit for 1994-2002 and 2002-2006 models.

If your motorhome was first registered in 2002 it could well be on the 2001 chassis

Wow at £354.38 plus fitting (I would guess probably the same amount) Thats a huge investment. Can anyone report they are worth the investment?

Fitting is just £100. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Great investment. Knocks the rock n roll out of the mh in winds , passing lorries roundabouts and windy country lanes.
Bought mine from a mhfacts member theree years ago and fitted them in about one and a half hours.
