Looks like an updated version of my Honda Lead. If it is, then it will be a great bike. Good for two people with plenty of luggage space - much more than most scooters.
To be honest, if you want to save yourself some money look for dealers selling old stock of Honda Leads
Hi All,
Most small Hondas are not "made in Japan" the Lead is/was made in India
The Honda Innova 125 - great, large wheel scooter made in Thailand etc etc
Regards Ray
Does it matter where it is made if it's built to Honda spec?
It looks great but my concern is power two up with perhaps joint weight of 25 stone.
Currently our scooter is 100cc Peugeot speedfight 2 which I'm looking to replace soon. It's 2 stroke and will out perform a lot of 125 bikes. The lead and melody was underpowered so I'm led to beleive.
What's encouraging is the website states you can arrange a test drive. So the proof will be In the eating.
Will arrange to trial it when we get home.
If it's a winner it will become the mh scooter of choice for racks where payload is an issue.
Thanks for the link

It does matter where the product is made.
My daughters bike was replacesd due to poor quality.
The replacement proved no better.
The bike that we paid £ 2050 for was actually being sold in India for less than £500.
Who makes the profit

It does seem cheap dave so I wonder if your right.
It's ok having a 24 month warranty as long as it's Europe wide. No good if it blows up in Switzerland to be told you have to take it to be repaired back in the uk
