Hi

I received a letter in the post from Peugeot this morning and I quote.

"Within the Peugeot quality programme it has identified that an operation is required to check and possibly replace the spare wheel fixing system. This measure will prevent any potentially incorrect securing of the spare wheel."

I have an Elddis Sunseeker 130 2008 model.

As any one on the forum received a letter relating to this problem or had the check carried out?

Regards

Alan

If my memory serves me correctly I saw something about this problem either on here or another forum a little while ago. Try doing a Goggle search for further info and a search on here.

There is a recall on the DVLA database for Boxers built between July 06 & Oct 07 about the spare wheel carrier:

http://www.dft.gov.uk/vosa/apps/recalls/searches/expand.asp?uniqueID=DDBBA1B1D20CE5BA802578D30024D3BC&freeText=Blank&tx=VOSA

Interestingly I saw recently the latest Ducato has a different system, certainly the old system isn't up to scratch.
