Croatia is a popular destination and if all goes to plan it looks like they will join the EU on the 1st July 2013 See HERE

Interesting one Don,

Apart from us being able to use Euros there, can you see any benefit to us? The EU seems to have so many members now that its problems outweigh its advantages. It may provide a small extra market for our exporters but will result in even more immigration problems. The critical size for a successful EU was about 15.

If they were more motorhome friendly I might think otherwise.

That assumes that the EU is still in it's current expansionary phase, it might be a lot smaller, or not there at all in 2013!

That means that all the stationary and flags with the EU emblem will have to be replaced.

Why don`t they just adopt the red background with a yellow hammer and sicle.

I should be taking Lady p to Croatia next spring.

Might mean most insurance will then cover Croatia under the normal EU cover.

So that gives them about two years to distort and exagerate all their accounts and make all the figures look good to the muppets in Brussels and after joining the Germans can start bailing them out Laughing

Had we been in the Euro now we would be in the same, or worse, position to Greece. We had to go crawling to the IMF once before, it's not a nice Exclamation
