I've just been fitting a set of headlight deflectors to our X/250 ready for a trip to France in a few days time.

I purchased the protectors second-hand from a member on the forum, who also provided helpful advice about how to fit them.

However, additionally I came across a link which illustrated and explained in great detail how to do the job.

Not sure if others are familiar with the guidance, but in case not here it is:

Apologies if it's been posted before.

I have lost one of the bottom plastic fittings which hold the plastic headlamp protector in place, does anyone have a spare.

Wavering slightly off topic.

The trim under the headlight also comes off in a similar manner as the top triangular trim that is removed in the video.
This enables access to the three bolts that hold the headlight in place.
I have found out that it is far, far easier to remove the headlight to replace bulbs than trying to replace them with the headlight in place.

I have to thank Jud for that information when i was trying to dry out water trapped in the headlight.
