Hi all Ive had my renault trafic autosleeper since may and still not on the road! Have replaced some parts according to renault diagnosis but need a throttle position switch. Have had one on order from renault for 6 weeks and have tried everywhere to get one with no luck. If anyone has any suggestions or could offer any advice I would be so grateful. Am very despondent! She is 1996 2165cc petrol. Thanks for listening, maggie

Hi Maggie,

I can be no help at all I'm afraid Sad, as I am a total newbie with none of the insider knowledge or technical know-how you might need... but just wanted to say Hi, I am with you in spirit..

I've also just bought a Trafic AUtosleeper (1989) and so far fingers crossed, apart from little bits that need tinkering with, nothing has made me wake up in a cold sweat - yet!

BWs,
Kate

Why not join the Autosleepers Owners forum where there are a few Traffic based owners. The forum is free to join at www.autosleeper.forumotion.co.uk you may get some help on there.

Thanks very much! joined the autosleeper club but still no luck. The part is a small round thing with a wire off it and a square plug thing on the end. We have managed to get 2 of them from salvage but apparantly there are 2 different ones and we have the wrong ones! The round thing has a metal clip on it and its that which is wrong. The part no is 175462699. Il get there eventually!! So nice of you all to write. Maggie
