Hi all,

I had reason to remove the front passenger seat on my 2009 transit. To access the four nuts holding the chair in situ, involves removing the grey cover at the side of the seat. The circlips that hold the adjuster handles on are incredibly difficult to remove I found.

It turns out that the seat can be removed without having to remove the side panel where the adjuster levers are.

By undoing the forward most nuts using a 13mm socket, you can then rock the chair backwards and upwards to reveal the bolts at the back of the chair and access them.

My limited skills and experience may help someone else in the future.

Regards
Charlie
