Just bought this generator & can't for the life of me get it to work !!

The previous one I just plugged in and it worked, this just keeps going to overload. We've just got back from two weeks holiday where we'd been on 3 different campsites and not at anytime tripped the plug in out, I can also plug into the mains at home and not trip the board. So I'm thinking that the van doesn't have a short, but if you plug an appliance direct into the generator it works fine !! Confused

Anyone with any ideas or thoughts ?

One suggestion was that that the RCD in the van needs a floating earth & I'd need to fit a Neutral Earth Link to the plug in cable, but this is all Chinese to me and don't understand any of it. I have spoken with the company I'd bought it from and they trying to help but thought the great minds MF could help in the meantime Very Happy

Thanks David
