I just had a try of Sky go TV online so we can watch if we get a wifi signal and I could download some stuff to watch while away.
I gave up after about 30 mins, what a waste of space, It took seconds to set up BBCs iplayer, and it's a pleasure to use, and cost me nothing but my licence fee.
Iv'e tried the others too 3/4/5 player, but dislike having to wade through interminable ads.
I don't want the expense of a dish or the setting up agro, as we move every day usually.
We do take a PVR with us, and always have a few un watched DVDs too
So any ideas, mainly to give us more viewing choices.
Thanks Dave, unfortunately, I'm still with steam driven Vista, on service pack 3.11, I can't afford to upgrade, and those who I know who have upgraded with anything over 3 years old, have had a lot of driver problems.
I loaded Sky go on my iphone last night , today at work while having a cuppa at lunch , I was watching Sky Sports News and it was seamless, that was not on a wifi connection just 3g, just the job to keep up to date while out and about
