The cluth on my Citroen Hymer 534 left hand drive 1992 vintage, does not engage the lower gears as it should. After travelling a dozen or so miles and the engine is warm it will not go into bottom gear or reverse unless I stop the engine and engage the gears. Where would it be possible to obtain a new clutch cable? Your help would be greatly appreciated. I have tried all the local garages also hymer UK preston Thanks Roy

Thanks all you gentlemen for your suggestions as to the problem with my clutch adjustment. Thanks especially to Sprinter I shall certainly give the firm he suggests a ring tomorrow. Yes I have adjusted the clutch cable quite a few times. After a few miles it needs adjusting again. So the answer is a new cable. Thanks again Roy (greycat)
Ah you didnt say that before, just a thought the same thing happened to me on my Hymer, There is a shaft running vertically in the bell housing with the release bearing on in, the shaft protrudes out of the bottom of the bell housing and has a pressed steel arm splined on to it with a pinch bolt in it. Mine was corroded and was deforming every time the clutch was pressed i kept having to adjust the clutch every other day. till i finally looked properly with a lamp another clutch arm sorted it ,just a thougfht.
i got one from these people
very helpful
