Good morning all Very Happy

We have just purchased a Fiamma Privacy room (large F45 Ti L) adn have yet to put it up as we need some advise (I have contact Fiamma - 2 weeks ago - but have yet to receive a reply)

If I understand the manual correctly we need to attach (screw in) 2 'brackets' onto our sun canopy - which is straight forward - but does anyone know if we can then leave these brackets permanently on the sun canopy? i.e. will the canopy close properly with these still attached?

I hope this makes sense and thanking you in advance for your help.

Hi, having recently replaced a Fiamma Awning [MHF Link] at work as part of an insurance claim, we were specifically told by the owner of the van to remove2 brackets from inside the old awning and transfer them to the new one as they were for his privacy room, so yes they stay permanently screwed into the awning.

Hope this helps

We have a Swift Suntor and the first time we fitted the privacy room, we couldn't get the habitation door open. Eventually we found out that swift had increased the height of the door. It took a lot of fighting and we almost had to camp out at the dealership, but eventually they fitted some Hymer brackets FOC, which lifted the cassette higher. They sold both the motorhome and the privacy room knowing they were no longer compatible. Our brackets are attached directly on to the motorhome and the cassette is fitted on to the bracket.
I hope this is what you mean.
