hi i am new to motor homes and was just wondering if anyone knows where the leisure battery or axillary battery can be found on a vw compass calypso 1997 Smile

If you cannot see it in a locker or anywhere obvious it is probably under the driver or passenger seat. Also try lifting the carpets and looking for a lift off panel revealing a sunken compartment in the floor.
