Absolutely not.
All 3G internet goes "via Amazon" - so very slow anyway.
No way to install 3rd party apps
No support for anything clever bar basic web surfing.

In my review, I rate Kindle 10/10 for eReader; "Okay" for reading email; poor for replying to email; and "just tollerable" for normal internet surfing.

That said, for what it is, it is superb and got us emails daily and "essential" internet pages.
