Last week during our trip to Italy and returning via Innsbruck in Austria, I saw diesel at these prices per litre. Also shown is the sterling equivalent
France motorway 1.15 Euro (84p)
Just off the motorway at Hypermarkets, we could see prices of around 1.05 euros.
Belgium motorway 1.04 Euro (bought some) (77p)
Luxembourg motorway 0.88 Euro (bought a lot) (63p)
Switzerland 1.73 SFR (bought a lot) (73p)
Italy motorway 1.19 Euro (87p)
Around Lake Garda 1.10 Euro (80p)
Austrian Motorways 1.01 Euro (74p)
Price at local station in Barnsley is 94.9p
Nothing new really! But, if you wanted to pay in euris in Switzerland, the price was 1.22 Euros per litre!
Nice to know, will have to re-plan the route, And fit a large fuel tank.
Price in Shetland is £0.99 - £1.06.
Please a little more info on the trip, and make life easy for the rest of us thinking of going in that direction, always better to learn by other peoples mistakes than your own
