since buying my newer motorhome i have been investigating trackers, prices contracts etc, because of the rain today sat and read through the paperwork that came with the van, tucked away on one of the invoices was a fitting and subscrirtion fee for a tracker that ran out last year,
checked the website at first put of because it said not transferable
but persisted and rang up playing dumb[very easy for me] luckily the non transferable bit was just the subscription, while i was on the phone the op checked , yes previous owner had cancelled his contract, yes the tracker was still live parked at gave me my street etc,
a result!, £395 for lifetime subscription of one of the trackers i was looking at in the £850 range, someone does love me???

I just love it when something goes right, even if it is not for me. Laughing

Thats good i bought my van with a tracker from Phantom, had 2 years subscription on it but made me pay for my own and charged me to register in my name. what hurts is when i ask them where it is they stall me for ages saying things like "are you parked inside a building" no i reply, "oh what about near a wall" what i asked you means i have to ask the thieves who nick it to park it in a field to find it, there answer was "no but its prob the satellite just warming up" WHAT i said!!

will prob go elsewhere when this runs out

(satellite warming up i ask you, must be the old valves in it lol)

used one 10 years ago and opted for the speed camera alerts which meant i had a speaker linked to it.....

I noticed it was missing the odd speed camera so phoned them and they had me drive past a camera previously not recognised to test it whilst still on the phone...

They scared me s..tless when his voice came over the speaker in the car rather than the phone as i had nt a clue they could do that !

I always wondered if when a car was stolen they asked the thief to stop !!!

good system, but expensive and without it they would nt insure me for that type of car...
