We had a 1 night stay at the aire on this lake a few weeks ago and found the lake looking stunning on arrival.

We ended up here acccidently a few years ago. We stayed in a site on one side and the most expensive we had been to up until then and it is a lovely lake and used for the Olympics at one time I understand. On the other side you can wild camp and wild boat at least at that time just by the signal tower.

The public beach along from the campsite was OK but two dead rats sort of took the shine of it.

But well worth at least one visit.

Hi and we stayed there for 3 nights in July. It was recommended by 2 lovely Irish couples and we meandred down and it was really scenic and totally chilling.
We met a french family that use it very often and even stayed on Christmas eve so they could be there on Christmas day. Ok, they said, very cold and snow but fantastic. Oh, I wish????
