Hi.

There are driveaway awnings that look like a porch awning. I have seen one caravan full awning fitted to a low profile older style M/H. If you can find one that has enough height you could fit the awning rail to your van. We have an awning rail fitted along the skirt of our van for when the safari room is fitted up.

Awning rail can be bought from most caravan dealers.

Im thinking something like this. Have def seen at least two motorhomes with this type fitted but like you say its all to do with the height.

Hi dans,

Fiama and Omnistor bothnhave a slit in the front of the cover. You wind it out, slid a porch awning in and then wind it back in.

It's not a tight fit at the sides but is quick and easy to do.

Have A look at Riversway leisure.

If you fit an awning to your motor home you will need to carry ladders Shocked If you slide into a Fiama for example you have the option of just putting the canopy out

Hi, We have a caravan porch awning similar to the photo you have posted. We fit it to the Fiamma Awning [MHF Link] channel with the double sized piping as you show & figure of 8 lengths. The only issue we found was the height, eventually we found one with a max height of 2.600m.
We got it from http://campingandleisure.co.uk/index.html
however i cannot locate this on their website. You could try emailing them, they were very helpful.
