Have been tyre kicking today and test drove a 3litre a class pilote no judder or vibration what's so ever.Manuel before you ask but one thing I did notice it had 15 inch wheels ?? Is that the problem 16 inch wheels just a thought thanks tude

We have a 3ltr Peugeot and it is fantastic. However when it was in the garage last week for the spare wheel fitting checking I just asked if they had any reverse problems. I was not concerned as I had not noticed a problem myself.
Later in the day I had a call from the garage saying they had reversed our Autocruise and it needed a modification,as I could not leave it then we have it booked in for when we return from Lincoln.
They do not seem sure as to what they will be doing but say they will have to strip the gearbox and ask Peugeot what the fix is.
I will keep you posted.
I've not encountered a thread discussing Peugeot judder? only Fiat
But it is the same chassis, engine and gearbox. Just the badge that is different.

Nevertheless I've not encountered any Peugeot owners complaining of the faults that Fiat's have
Perhaps not many Peugeot owners specify the 3 litre engine? Perhaps as Peugeot customer service only have a few problem vehicles to deal with they try to sort the problem out without attracting any attention.
As has been explained many times 2.0 & 2.2 litre drivetrains are Peugeot/Citroen sourced (regardless of the badge on the front) and 2.3/2.8/3.0 litre drivetrains are Iveco sourced (regardless of the badge on the front).
All other bits are identical and all models (regardless of badge) are made on the same lines in the same factory in Southern Italy.

The 3.0 is the same in the Fiat, Pug and Citroen, also used in the Iveco but in RWD form
I would guess that you here more about the Fiat simply due to the majority are on a Fiat.
For whats it is worth our 2009, Fiat 3.0 has done 14,000 miles and has been fine, been to the Alps 3 times, up and down plenty of hills as well as getting on and off many grassy/ Muddy meets, CL,s and THS and it does get reversed.
