When announcing a new campsite review can the country please be added to it.
The name and even the location are not always indicative of the actual country.
Thankyou Smile

ALSO! Try to be accurate where you place the campsite sticker. Just lately on reviewing recently added c/sites the the little sticker can be somewhere in the vicinity rather than at it. Cool

That simply is not true.

We take exceptional care to ensure that all campsites added to the database are in exactly the correct position, even to the point of checking that the site entrance is visible in "Google Streetview" wherever possible.

The only exceptions will be sites that were added some time ago by "Autosites" where I believe the CC and C&CC GPS positions were used.

If you are aware of any sites that you consider are incorrectly located, please use the "Review" or "Report a problem" facility and the positions wil be checked.

No disrespect intended, today

http://www.motorhomefacts.com/modules.php?name=Campsites&op=display_results&csid=11041

bottom of road, not entrance to site.

My apologies for taking the thread off topic EJB but I'm sure you'll understand that I need to respond here............

The GPS marker has been placed at the address for that site (4 Rte de Guewenheim) because of the "streetview" image. It designates the exact point at which the visitor needs to turn off Rte de Guewenheim into the approach drive to the site. If you look at the streetview picture you'll actually see the sign pointing to the site. If you were approaching the site a photo of the site gate barrier would be of considerably less help to you than an image of the correct turning into the site. Thus the GPS has been placed at that spot - almost 200m from the entrance barrier. Try to find another internet campsite database with such attention to detail.

As EJB says, please use the "Review" or "Report a problem" procedures for reporting any perceived errors in campsite positions.

Also apologies, BUT we were told previously to place the marker at ENTRANCE to site not IN the site and certainly not at at road leading to the camp site. Have instructions changed?
