Hi, We are looking after twins that are 2years old. We would like to continue in our motorhome. Any thoughts on sites that would be good or tips on taking toddlers away would be helpful. We have a Rollerteam 500. Our children are all older now (youngest is 14) We didn't have the van when our children were small. Advice on taking toddlers away would be appreciated!

You don't say which part of the country you are in/tour. When we lived in the south-west, we regularly took our toddler grandchildren to Brokerswood - they have playgrounds for toddlers, primary school kids, and zip-wire type for secondary school. All ages catered for. The children all loved it.

I am sure that there are similar sites around Britain.

If it is raining, then that good old fall-back of a colouring book and crayons goes down a bundle. Followed by puddle-jumping as it stops raining - wellies optional.

we toured around france spain and portugal for three months with a two yr old a good tip is have plenty of teletubbies/tweenies etc on dvd or loaded on a laptop for when you want to keep them quiet while driving distances, also we hugged the coast, so lots of beach days lots of stops feed ducks parks etc etc also take a good seletion of toys but rotate them a little to keep them from getting bored too
