Hi All

Brand new to this site.
I recently purchased a 1982 Hymer which has 'dimpled' paneled exterior sides. Unfortunately I managed to 'crease' on panel, not enough to split it, just disfigure it.

Has anyone any idea where I might get a piece of paneling about 5 ft long.

Any ideas appreciated.

Many thanks

Rickenbacker

Hi Rick and welcome.
dont know where to get that dimnpled pannelling nowadays as most makers stopped uning it in the early 90s. it was abugger to clean and lots of folks moaned about it so it was dropped for ridged panels.
You might be able to get one from a caravan breakers so do a bit or trawling. The other alternative is to fill the crease and cover it with a decal or motif of something. or just a stripe which you can repeat in the other side. Cheaper than cutting a panel out as its quite a specialist job.

Good luck and do let us know if you get it sorted so that it gives others ideas

Hello. Welcome to the club.

'Nukem'moderator, posted a reply to another member a few days ago with a number of companies that have spares. This is one of them that I kept a note of. Hope this helps.

Easy to clean with Aldi cleaner, £2.99p, belive it or not. We tried many before.

Regards
