After 9 years with the same Motorhome Insurance company - I have to say how pleased I was to receive the quote from Motorhome Facts Insurance and compliment them how everything was made so easy.
I have to say I was fairly sceptical about changing but after checking all the comparisons -I have saved over £80 and got improved conditions.
I advise everyone to check them out.
Just done an online quote £224, have bee doing a bit of research as mine insurance in middle of October and not had my reminder yet so wanted to see what the avaergae amount would be. Most have been between £270 - £275, one was £355 including breakdrown, asked to not have breakdown but that was not possible, so getting £224 from MHF is great, so will see when my renewal comes which is the better.
Today I tried MHF Insurance. What an easy website / questionnaire ..only took a minute at the most before quote was returned. Very happy with cost approx £300 inc RAC Europe especially when compared with Caravan Club quote of £430!!! excluding Breakdown
However just a question Nuke / Davy Crocket
Are Slovenia, Bosnia, Montenegro and Albenia recognised as "European" countries as we may visit that area next year?
I tried for a quote whenn mine was due, unfortunately the facility had just been added to MHF, it had teething troubles, and I couldn't get a quote so I went with who I was already with for only a £2 increase. I will be ready for a quote early next year and MHF will be on my list.

just reread my post and yes I will agree with the pedants, it's pretty bad English
3 Years ago Saga was the best quote I could find, seem to be pricing them selves out of the market.
Alan
Saga when it was Saga, I found to be extremely competetive and when I had a couple of claims were 110% pleasant, no quibble and get on with it attitude (House not car policy)
Since they were taken over a couple of years ago, no longer competetive at all and in fact my broker beat them by many hundreds of pounds on my house insurance.
Just renewed with Comfort; pleased to find that the premium had reduced by £30 for an increased level of cover.
Full European cover incl breakdown with RAC ( no weight restriction) and a green card for Israel, Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey if required.
Also now covered when in the garage for repairs
