Hi All
being an avid follower and member, doing more looking than posting must admit we have puchased a Remoska having followed the threads on here we also have the book 200 recipes but no mention of baking bread and would be interested in any recipes and timings for bread or indeed any other personal recipes with the remoska
thanks in advance
Hi Mendit,
don't know about bread but when I did have the Remoska I went through all the recipes and was surprised how many required you to first brown off the meat in a frying pan before put in the Remoska to cook. I cant see the point of dirtying two pans so use the Remoska pan on a heat shield on the hob instead, prior to using the top whatsit. Worked fine.
Very pleased with it but passed it on to a friend as I have an oven on board and don't use EHU.
Simple meal for two: 4 chicken thighs, chopped shallot, garlic, root vegetables eg pots, or sweet pots/butternut squash, carrots, parsnips. Sliced apple, good olive oil, seasoning. Sir up and cook for an hour (+ a half).
Bottle of red while waiting then serve.
Works just as well in the oven full heat with lid off to stop it steaming.
