On our return from France we had a recall notice from Vosa regarding our Autocruise spare wheel holder. I contacted the dealer and arranged a time for the repair. When I took our motorhome in for the recall job I just asked them to reverse it up an incline to make sure all was well with the van. Up to this point I had not had a problem with reverse and just expected them to confirm all was well. I thought that if I did this, when I eventually trade in the van I can say it had been checked earlier and all is well.
How wrong I was as I soon had a call from the garage saying they had checked the reverse and thought it needed further inspection. First they contacted Peugeot who said that our van should be ok as it was only the earlier ones with the problem however they told the garage to change the engine mounts and remap the engine to give it more power at lower revs (I thought it had loads of power). Anyway after this the garage was still not happy and contacted Peugeot again, they agreed to send an engineer out to check our motorhome over. I felt sure I would soon have a call to collect the van and all would be well.
No, I was wrong again the Peugeot engineer has now said he is not happy and has told the garage to change the clutch and flywheel. Lets hope this will cure the problem I did not even know I had and we can soon be off in the van again.

Sorry to hear that. At least Peugeot are willing to do something about it, not like that other shower that my base is on.

Let us know how it goes wont you.

I am in the same boat as Steve so please let us know.

There are no modifications for the 3 litre so I will be interested to hear what happens. If it's the same as Fiat what has now been perceived as a problem will quickly turn out to be "within design tolerances", Alan.
