Still probs with this which started 20/21 Sept. Now with help from Andy at RoadPro we are now wondering if it is humidity that has caused it? Could this be?

????????????????????

Whats the problem ?? is there a link to a previous thread ??

Any mositure will affect a satellite signal as it's transmitted via mircowave frequencies.. Thats why trees in the way are bad, water in the leaves etc...
Dont even start to mention snow being stuck on a dish face !! Laughing
The number of people I have had outside tapping their old Amstrad dish with a line prop so they could get their picture back... Laughing Laughing

Tonka thanks for your reply. No individual thread but as I was to start one I found a thread where people were having orbs too and GerryD posted about BBC changing something. Unfortunately I only have iPhone in mobile here so can't easily find the link

It is ok during day and as evening sets in we lose 1/2 but have ALWAYS got ITV. Have tried checking signal lad quality and both ok. Duncan hastwice now been up on roof and tried adjusting it. It all seems ok but prob still appears atnight. He slightly changed lnb today. Quality went up about a quarter inch on pace 1000 box (with free to air card). But tonight shows it back where it wasbefore and we haven't moved. The lines are solid to line up with the network I'd numbers

W
It is 3 years old was a prob first year but that wasdue entirely to german dealers setting it to Astra 1. !!

We ended up going to RoadPro on our return when they couldn't fix it and it has been fine until this trip. We have been down here every year since without probes

We have now run out of ideas

When Duncan went up on the roof the first time he found all 16 bolts done up but none tightened. When he removed the dome he found wet inside and it is also green where we assume waterhas dried in the heat.

Any thoughts. What is puzzling is that we havegot ITV.

Carol and apologies fore finger errors!
