Its considered essential to have antivirus/interenet security for your computer to stop all the nasties getting in and i've always had it on my main computer.

However, I've been using my ipod quite alot on the web and it just occured to me the other day i've got no antivirus or anything on it, how comes this seems to work fine without any protection or have I just been lucky so far and need some Question

Think it is a good idea to install anti virus on your Ipad. Mine is an android phone and the app I use is Dr. Webb light. Just look through the apps and it is a free download.

Not sure there is any anti virus for iPods! We Macs, MacBooks, iPads and iPhones (between 4 of us) none of which have anti virus, the Macs we have had for years and they are permanently connected to the internet. Quite honestly we have never felt the need to install anti virus apart from that provided by our bank for on line banking. I wouldn't worry. Remember that PC virus cannot run on a Mac.
