Hi Kevin,

You only need to write one post on the same topic otherwise people who want to help won't know where to reply.

You might want to try the SBMCC - The Self Build Motor Caravan Club. They are perhaps a little more geared up on self build conversions in terms of layouts but there is lots of knowledge to be had here also - so perhaps become a member of both!

Welcome to the forum. If you have a look through the self build section you will find a huge amount of info on conversions. I haven't noticed a combined race conversion but there is lots on the habitation side of things.
I guess you will have to look at balancing the weight a bit so as not to overload the rear axle.

A few things to think about.
Are you going to use it all year? If so you need good insulation in walls, floor and roof and your watertanks need to be inside the insulated area.
Are you going to be on hookup/generator or just 12v batteries? If batteries then maybe you need a solar panel? Also think about how you are going to heat it if you use in in winter?

I loo is generally a good idea if you are using in the depths of winter.

Do you need to hose down the bikes after use?

Lots and lots to think about.

Might be best to try and see as many Panel Van Conversions (PVC) as you can and see how they maximise the space. It's amazing what the cram in. Some very clever ideas.

Good luck and keep us informed.
