Don't know if it's any use but ours is a package from safeguard. Fully comp motorhome insurance that includes eu breakdown insurance. We like it as it's a 365 policy meaning you can be away all year and still be covered. I believe many policies have a single trip limit of say three months.

Think it's about £300 for both all in

I drive a van over 15 years old, which seems to be the cut-off for many policies, I found this when looking for stand-alone Europe cover.

Much may depend upon both your age and that of your van.
I am becoming ancient with a nine year old van and Saga suits me for both price and what it provides.
Which magazine does a check every so often and it may be worthwhile looking there for best options.

I have ADAC. Without an address in Germany you can't join online but you can by phone.
The ADAC Plus cover represents excellent value for money, the benefits and T's & C's are well worth taking the time to read.
