Hello folks

Going full time soon in our old Merc 207d Apache van, 1985 reg.
We aim to tour europe and NOT keep a base in the UK.

Anyone know of an insurance company that offers a reasonable deal on insurance for such an old van on a full time basis, without charging the Earth for it. Any advice on who to go to or not to go for it would be most helpful.

No experience whatsoever I'm afraid, but it occurs to me that you might do best to try a pan-European company.

I can't remember which ones I have seen advertised both here and in France, but I know there are some who operate in both countries - and presumably others as well.

Just a thought which might help.
