Hi,

Any 0-40 or 5-40 should be fine. Costco do a good deal on Mobil 0-40 diesel specific for less than £30 for 5 litres.

If it is the latest NCVIII Sprinter, it needs to be low saps.

If it is the older 316, any synthetic will be good.

I buy Mobil 1 off ebay mostly.

If it is the new 316, you will need Mobil 1 ESP

I agree with Trev - Mobil 1 - it may be more expensive, but your engine stays cleaner, and the oilways are less likely to become choked.

Yes thanks Smick.

Maybe I should have pointed out why I use mobil 1 or 1 esp.

Becuase it lasts longer and stays cleaner longer than anything else I have ever used.
