Hallo all you happy wifiers,lots of info on wifi but I havent seen a single mention of the law regarding wifi boosters in Europe.The law states that the use of a booster shall not be more than 100milliwatt /or approx 20dbi. The reason for this law is given as the detrimental
effect of the microwaves from it,in fact it has never been shown that these have a detrimental effect on your health, try googling it! I believe that the real reason is that yhe powers that be having sold very expensive licences to vodaphone et al dont want Joe or Josephine public setting up their own networks.Spain is 80% wifi with massive antennas on the mountains ,cheaper than cable,but no-one says boo.My advice is be informed over what you do and make up your own mind
