Who's going to be first to put the name to that tetrahedron childhood treat of the past?

If you're thinking Toblerone we've got them for £1 each at our Poundland- big ones too. Don't know if they are pirated versions as the ones on ferries seem to sell for much more than that.

I used to think they were a treat but find them too sickly sweet now.

If it's frozen, then it's got to be a Jublee (think that's what they were called, but we might have mispronounced it!)

Squeeze it out of the packet as an ice lolly, then drink the defrosted juice drink at the end - lovely!

Steve

[edit: and you don't have to be a wrinkly to have enjoyed them as a kid!]

We saw some lovely candy striped sweets around Carpentras called something like belingot. Wonderful colours

They were sherbert fountains, but they weren't tetrahedrons! I think I'd second jublees.

The ones I'm thinking of were. You peeled back the apex of the tetrahedron and put the liquorice stick in...yellow paper.... I can even taste them as I write !
