Had my Samy 65 dish re-programmed today by Rob Leafe of Automate.

Came to my storage facility, sorted the dish out quickly, very reasonable cost and nice chap to deal with.

Because the BBC have charged the channels that are used and the dish tries to log onto unused channels.

Not restricted to Oyster dishes, understand that it applies to all of them.

Have a look at: http://www.motorhomefacts.com/ftopict-114021-satellite.html+help

I have followed a few of these threads with interest over the last couple of months re: reprogramming and yet I have not come across a problem.
We have an Oyster Vision II with a Sky+ box and it is fine - locks on and shows all the channels and I have not needed to mess with anything. Do I assume that Sky have taken responsibility for the changes that other users are finding necessary to do??

Fair comment Steve but some of the Oyster products need a software download, and you can't follow those instructions for my model, the Samy 65, they don't do anything unfortunately.

The control box had to be connected to a laptop for the software update.
