Hi Mags.
AOL does it automatically as with your address book on as many other computers as you want.
But I can't help you if you are using another server and Internet Explorer. Hopefully others can.

under documents and settings you should have a folder under your user name called favourites
copy this folder and overwrite the favourites folder on your new netbook (assuming you don't already have lots of favourites on your new netbook)
The above will depend which versions of windows you are using
Alternatively and depnding how many favourites you have - you could open each page and copy and paste the url into an email which you can then open on your new netbook and resave each favourite
Second option gives you a chance to tidy up your favourites and highlights those links which no longer work
hope this helps

Transfer the file to a memory stick or shared router and transfer between the two machines.
I have not tried the last step above but when the folder is on your new machine then start at the top again and select Import rather than Export at step 4.
Mags - If you mean bookmarks on your browser then you can use a browser that will automatically synchronise your bookmarks for which ever computer you are using.
I use Google Chrome which does when selected in settings and similar is possible with Firefox - not sure about Internet Explorer.
thanks everybody, with a bit of trial and lots of error, i now have all my favourite bookmarks on my little netbook, so one more task completed before we go away. only about fifty more to sort.......
