I have just purchased new A-class and am having several teething problems in build quality, the major of which is severe water ingress around the cab area. The dealer is going to take a look at all the problems but I wondered if anyone else had experienced problems like this. I changed a Le Voyageur for this one and am starting to wonder if I was foolish
ouch! get them to remedy things immediately, - absolutely unforgivable on a new mototrhome

As far as I know, the only motorhoming Oxford United supporter in Bognor.
I have just bought a new Magic Black 1-SG. Did you solve the water problem ? as we have used our's 3 times now and with the cab bed being used, we find a lot of condensation on the cab windows in the morning, resulting in a pool of water in the drivers door floor well, it has rained heaverly on our trips, so not sure if its condensation or a leak, any thoughts ? what was your outcome ?
Do you have EXTERNAL screens?? If not you will get HUGE amounts of condensation on the inside of the windcreen !!!
If there is moisture all over the inside of the screen then its almost certainly going to be condensation, if its a leak then you will be unlikely to get moisture all over, just where its leaking in/running down
External screens are not cheap for an A class but in my view (having owned a B544 several years ago) they are an essential bit of kit. Internal screens just dont do the job in anything like an efficient manner.

Hi Slapheadmark
My dealer found a problem with water entry around the driver's window and seems to have fixed the problem. We also suffer condensation in cold weather but that does not cause too much water, we literally had cup fills from the leak
We do seem to have a problem with the heating unit though and in cold weather seem to need to run on gas and electric or the unit locks out. I have aked the dealer to check it out but they cannot find a fault but I am sure something is not right. We had very similar system in our previous vehicle and this always worked well on just electric. If you are paying a site for electric you want to make full use of it after all. Is yours OK?
