it arrived today some what worse for wear thanks to the parcel force and i did nt waste time in testing it on this dull and gloomy day....
I took note of grizzley s full system on his house producing 300 w on a dull day and am pleased to report this panel gives 19w in what i assume to be the same type of day and in line with his results as i assume he has 16 or 18 panels...

Hoping for 1 amp on days like this when its all conected and using an mppt capable of charging 12 v batteries from an input less than 12v know there will always be something going in and raising the voltage during daylight hours and a maximum input on sunny days of around 12 to 14 amps...

Hi Spatz

Specsavers for you my boy - Grizzly is a she! Rolling Eyes

That's a cracking good price, and a very good performance.

Can you post details of where you got it please.

Dave Very Happy

Strewth Andrew.

I hadn't noticed - I never look at it.

I'll give you one back for letting me know.

ooops ... i never would have associated anthing "grizzly" with womanhood before you spoke. Laughing Laughing

The company flashed it up on ebay 3 minuteds before i bought it and when i phoned he explained he d only got bubble wrap for one and probably why mine arrived having taken a knock on the corners!!! The irony is it was listed as slight scratch on the back but that bits hardly visible and he was selling like that to protect his 100% rating....
I' just deciding if i can manage to fit another by using a couple of stainless hinges i have and when i ve ordered i ll post up a contact for the company and he ll flash it on ebay if he has bubble wrap...

They are bloomin massive 1m by over 1 1/2 but are beautifully made and come with short cables ansd conectors....

so i finally mounted this and selected an ivt 30a mppt which arrived the other day ....

The quality of build on the ivt was pathetic and i m suprised the germans turned something out like this at £113... The led s were not poking through the holes nor lined up with them and screws were loose , and it hadnt been tampered with as the seal was intact on the box..Not impressed, but it was chosen because it can handle a high voltage panel and has a de suphating pulse mode to prolong the life of the batteries on top of the benefits of mppt...

with hindsight i would probably have bought one of these instead as it is far more up to date in containing a super capacitor etc...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/20A-12V-24-MPPT-solar-charge-controller-solar-regulator-15-30-more-power-/250934747042?pt=LH_DefaultDo main_0&hash=item3a6ce05fa2

I decided to strip the cover off and line everything up and then set about coupling it up and its now fitted and working correctly giving 1.3 amps in very poor light conditions where the other 12v 60w panel is giving nothing...
